1976
The Beginning
Three brothers, KR, SR, and JR Dhamecha, turned a vision into Dhamecha Cash & Carry.
1983
A Bigger Step Forward
We moved to Wembley’s 140,000 sq. ft. unit, marking a new era of growth.
1990s
Our Expansion Years
We grew beyond Wembley, opening depots in Barking (1998) and Enfield (1999) to serve more retailers.
2000s
Era of Innovation
We expanded to Croydon (2001) and Watford (2003). We also launched “Day1” and “Today's Retail Club,” creating new ways to support our retail partners.
2010s
Our Nationwide Growth
We reached more communities with depots in Hayes (2010), Lewisham (2012), Leicester (2015), and Birmingham (2017).
2020s
New Horizons
We continue to expand with depots in Leyton (2021), Nottingham (2022), West Bromwich (2022), and Liverpool (2024), always keeping your business at the heart of ours.
Our Leadership
At the Helm of Dhamecha
With family leadership, a skilled management team, and the support of 1000+ colleagues, we serve over 18,000+ retailers with respect and trust.
The Dhamecha Group is led by the second generation of our family, Pradip and Manish Dhamecha, and brother-in-law Mukesh Vithlani. In 2022, the family welcomed third generation family member, Anand Dhamecha, into the business. Staying true to our founding principles of competitive prices, product availability, and friendly service, we continue to put retailers first. Each depot is guided by a dedicated General Manager, making Dhamecha a great place to shop and a great place to work.

Giving Back to People and Communities
At Dhamecha, we’ve always believed in looking after our people and the communities we serve. From creating safe workplaces with regular health and safety training to encouraging care for the environment, we put wellbeing first.
Our commitment to giving back began with the Laduma Dhamecha Charitable Trust, founded in honour of our late grandmother’s role in shaping our journey. Through this Trust, we support long-term causes locally, nationally, and globally.
