modern Slavery Statement

At Dhamecha Foods Limited, we recognise our responsibility under Section 54 of the United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act 2015. We publish a Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Transparency Statement each year to outline the steps we take to help ensure that slavery and human trafficking do not occur in any part of our business or supply chains.

Dhamecha Foods Limited is a family-owned company registered in England and Wales. We operate depots across London, the Midlands and Liverpool, supplying a wide range of products to independent retailers. As the largest member of Unitas Wholesale Limited, we are part of a wider network that supports responsible and fair business practices.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking. We work with our suppliers as partners and expect them to meet the same standards. Our approach includes identifying and assessing potential risks in our supply chains, monitoring these areas, taking steps to mitigate and reduce those risks, and protecting whistle-blowers who raise concerns in good faith.

Our commitment is supported by policies, training and contractual requirements that strengthen compliance across our operations and supply chains. We continue to review these measures and engage with employees and suppliers to help maintain effective safeguards.
